Until September 2025, appointments for visa applications to Mainland France (Schengen) and French overseas regions will be accepted in Georgetown TWO DAYS per month.  ONLY APPLICANTS WITH A CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT BOOKED ONLINE WILL BE ATTENDED.

NO WALK-IN APPLICATION IS POSSIBLE.

For this purpose, visa applicants :

1. must complete their applications online at https://france-visas.gouv.fr   on the Suriname page,

2. make an appointment online at https://consulat.gouv.fr/ambassade-de-france-a-paramaribo/rendez-vous?name=Visas%20Georgetown

3. You should receive a confirmation of  your appointment. On the day of the appointment,   go to the following address : 98, Garnett Street,  LAMAHA GARDENS. Georgetown, Guyana, in order to submit their applications.

ALL OTHER APPLICANTS FOR SCHENGEN VISA MUST GO THROUGH VFSGLOBAL/SURINAME at http://visa.vfsglobal.com/sur/en/ndl


Applications must include completed and signed France visa application form, receipt of application, passport, photo, supporting documents (the list is provided on France Visas), the application fee indicated on France visas (EURO CASH ONLY) and a pre-stamped FeDex envelope with your address for the passports return from Suriname . Visa are not delivered right away! 3 WEEKS to get response.

 Currently the French Embassy in Paramaribo can only deliver Schengen visa with main destination France. Main destination means where you will spend most of your journey! 

 If your main destination is another Schengen country, you must apply with VFSGLOBAL in Suriname
